RFQ – Typical turn time for a PCBA Consignment quote is 24 -48 hours upon receipt of a complete quote package which consists of:
- BOM with Rev # and bare board part number referenced including Rev #
- Assembly Drawing, including Rev #
- Fabrication Drawing, including Rev #
- Panelization Drawing
RFQ – Typical turn time for a Sub-System or Box Build Consignment quote is 3-4 business days upon receipt of a complete quote package which consists of:
- Same as PCBA Consignment requirements PLUS
- Top level Assembly Data to include but not limited to BOM, Assembly Drawings, Box-build Drawings, Testing Instructions and Packaging Specifications
Workmanship Standard
EMI performs all manufacturing assembly services in conformance with the workmanship criteria of IPC-A-610, Class 2. EMI will build to the requirements of IPC-A-610 Class 2 as far as the provided design and materials allow. EMI can also build to Class 3 and JSTD.

Materials Management: Securing Your Materials
In addition to Consignment Services, EMI also manages our customers' Turnkey components and materials, including customized parts. Using our replenishment program, we provide shortage reports and bin inventory reports, as well as just-in-time inventory status for Class A custom components by working closely with our customer. EMI warehouses materials in our own US secured facilities or in our own China secured facilities, dependent upon which is the most cost-effective option for your company.
